Frequently Asked Questions
Question:Your calendar shows a vacancy at a time that suits us.
              What do we do next?

Answer Give us a ring or email and we will email you our Booking Forms and Conditions. These are to be signed and returned to us with your payment. We hold the dates you want provisionally until an agreed date. This allows a few days for your deposit to be received by us, and then we will confirm the booking in writing. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your holiday. Full payment is due with your forms if you book less than eight weeks in advance of your stay with us.

Question: Do you take on line payments by credit cards?

Answer No, we do not have a credit card facility, but we are happy to take payment by cheque, Pay Pal, or by electronic bank transfer. Details are on the booking form.

Question: What is a self catering short break?

Answer Short breaks are Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights (3 night weekend break), or Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights (4 night mid week break) Both 3 night weekend breaks and 4 night midweek breaks are the same price.

Question: Are there any extra charges for anything?

Answer No. All prices for our self catering accommodation rental include electricity, wifi, bed linen, bathroom towels and kitchen linen, as well as lots of little extras which will make your stay with us more comfortable. If you are travelling from overseas and ask us to buy groceries these are payable on arrival.

Question: Is Penlan Bach suitable for the disabled visitor?

Answer Guests with mobility difficulties all have different requirements when choosing holiday cottages, and we advise you to check our accessibility statement and phone if they are unsure of anything. We are happy to advise guests according to individual needs.

Question: Are children welcome?

Answer Yes, of course, but please note that we feel this holiday accommodation is unsuitable for children under 5 years old.

Question Are dogs welcome

Answer Yes, friendly dogs are always welcome, but please would guests planning to bring their dog check our pet information?
Unlike many holiday cottage owners we do not charge for pets.

Question A celebration?

Answer Perhaps you are planning a break to celebrate something? If so, just let us know in advance how much you want to spend and we can arrange for a delivery of flowers, cake, wine etc - or even book a table at a local restaurant for you.

Question Can we arrange for pre-paid supermarket groceries to be delivered before arrival

Answer Yes. Tesco, Waitrose and Asda deliver to Llangynidr and the Crickhowell area regularly. Please would you arrange for the delivery after your anticipated arrival time - and let us know when it is
